As a growing brand in the home décor space, Tangerine needed a website that could highlight their range of macramé products while also being aesthetically aligned with the artisanal nature of their items. The challenge was to create a design that was visually engaging, easy to navigate, and capable of converting casual browsers into buyers. The brand also wanted to integrate educational content, such as macramé tutorials, into the website seamlessly.

A clean, modern design was developed that emphasized the brand's artisanal nature. Products were categorized for easy browsing, and key features like customer favorites, new arrivals, and macramé tutorials were highlighted. The site was designed to be visually appealing yet simple, making it easy for users to shop and explore Tangerine’s offerings. Additionally, responsive design ensured seamless navigation across devices.

I was responsible for creating the website's design from the ground up. My responsibilities included competitor research, wireframing, prototyping, and overseeing the visual and user experience design.

  3. Modern & Minimalist Visual Design: I used a minimalist aesthetic to align with the handcrafted nature of the brand. Neutral tones, warm images, and soft fonts were chosen to reflect the artisanal essence of Tangerine’s products.

  4. Product Segmentation & CTA: Clear product segmentation and call-to-action buttons were designed to drive users toward key sections like "Customer Favorites" and "New Arrivals," creating a frictionless path to purchase.

  5. Interactive Elements: Integrated features like interactive product displays and a section for educational YouTube tutorials, boosting engagement and interaction with the brand.

  6. Mobile Optimization: Ensured the design was fully responsive, providing a seamless shopping experience across devices.

Outcome
